Enhanced Severe Risk in Tennessee Valley

There is an Enhanced Risk for severe weather today in parts of the Tennessee Valley. This includes Huntsville and Florence, AL and Columbia, TN.

All modes of severe weather will be possible with any storms that develop this afternoon and tonight, including damaging wind gusts, large hail, and tornadoes.

The SPC suggests that a strong tornado or two will be possible in the Enhanced Risk area especially along the Tennessee/Alabama border.
