Tornado Threat Today

Severe weather is likely today in parts of the eastern Ozarks into the Ohio Valley. A few strong tornadoes will be possible.

An Enhanced Risk is in place from far southeastern Missouri into central Kentucky. This includes Evansville, IN, Clarksville and Hendersonville, TN, and Owensboro and Bowling Green, KY.

Thursday, March 12 Severe Weather Outlook

Multiple rounds of severe weather are possible today. Large hail and damaging wind gusts will be possible with any storms that develop in this area. There is also the threat for tornadoes. The SPC says that, “significant/EF2+ rated tornadoes may occur.”
